Weight loss: Woman lost three stone through cutting out one particular food from her diet

Jessica Simmonds, 30, was "depressed" about being overweight and it affected her day to day. 

Working in retail, she was too tired to exercise after being on her feet all day.

However, at 12 stone and a size 16, Jessica was overweight and had high blood pressure. 

She would go out to eat at least twice a week at Italian restaurants, where she ate pizza and pasta dishes.

One of her most fattening habits was drinking a whole bottle of wine a night – around 600 calories.

“I was very unhappy and had no confidence before I lost the weight, I felt sad and not like me,” she said.

"I felt depressed, had low self-esteem, my weight gain really affected my day to day life."

However, she decided to make a change and started the SlimFast diet to help her lose weight.
